What to expect from the Survey

We have big challenges in our country when it comes to the mental health and wellbeing of young people. Your school wants to ensure that all young people are supported with their wellbeing by taking part in #BeeWell.

#BeeWell is a new initiative in Greater Manchester that aims to make the wellbeing of young people everybody’s business. The #BeeWell survey will help to imbed long-term improvements in wellbeing by finding the right way to support young people’s wellbeing across Greater Manchester.

The Survey

In school, you will be asked to fill out a survey about your wellbeing and the things that influence your wellbeing. There will be questions about your life, yourself, and your feelings. There will also be questions about your health and routines, hobbies and entertainment, relationships, school, local and home environment, and the future.

The survey is not a test – there are no wrong answers. It is about understanding how you feel, so just pick the answers that best fit you. You do not have to take part if you do not want to and you can stop taking part at any time during the survey. If there are any questions you do not want to answer, you can skip them.

Support filling in The Survey

Your parents, carers, and your school will not be able to see your answers. If you feel upset or need support, please speak to an adult you trust.

Your answers will help us to understand the state of wellbeing across your age group. Your school and neighbourhood will receive reports and answers given by young people just like you. All responses will be anonymous and schools and neighbourhoods won’t be able to access individual answers.

Thank you for helping us all #BeeWell.
